Hood River skatepark is very unique and it kind of reminds me of a well made DIY. If I had to guess it is around 18,000 square feet. No one really knows who built it due to several upgrades and add-ons over the years however Dreamland Skateparks was involved at some point.
Some of the skatepark is smooth and some spots are pretty rough. There is a big bowl with pool coping, lots of quarter pipes, arch way, ledges, rails, banks, and gaps. I would say it is best suited for intermediate to advanced skaters but there is one small quarter pipe that is perfect to learn on.
