Andy A_Dog Williams Skatepark

Andy A_Dog Williams skatepark is 21,000 square feet and was designed by Grindline and built by Artisan Skateparks in 2015. There is a variety of street terrain such as a hubba ledge, flat ledges, curved ledges, manual pads, camel humps, handrails, flat bar, stairs, landscape rocks, euro gap, quarter pipes, banks, and a massive vert bank. Transition skaters were not forgotten about here with a mini bowl and a big flow bowl right in the center of the skatepark.

Since the park’s opening in 2015, many skateboarding legends and professionals have skated here including Tony Hawk (whose foundation helped fund the park), Sean Malto, Curran Caples, and Vermont’s own Chris ‘Cookie’ Colburn and Jordan Maxham.

This is arguably Vermont’s best skatepark which is evidenced by how many skateboarders from around the state are willing to travel to Burlington just to skate here. The skatepark’s location on Burlington’s waterfront adjacent to Lake Champlain is a major drawcard and where incredible sunsets can be seen come the magic hour.

The park was named after local DJ and skater Andy ‘A_Dog’ Williams whose passion and persistence were instrumental in getting this skatepark built. Sadly, Andy passed away of leukemia before the park was finished.
