Best Skate Shops In Dallas

The Point Skate Shop

The Point skate shop is a skater owned and operated shop who pride themselves on what they call “full service skateboarding”. They have a wide selection of boards, trucks, wheels, shoes, apparel, and everything else you need to stay rolling.

The Point stocks high quality and popular brands such as Toy Machine, Real, Anti Hero, Baker, Blind, Independent, Ace, Thunder, Spitfire, Ricta, Bones, Vans, Emerica, and many more.

They have two store locations and both have an indoor wooden bowl that you can skate! It’s $5 for a session, free to skate with same day purchase, or free to skate if you are riding a Point shop skate deck. Go hang out, buy some gear, and skate with your friends at The Point.

Rec Shop

Rec Shop has been providing Dallas skateboarders with quality skate products since 2004. The skater owned shop carries skateboards from major brands including Santa Cruz, FSC, Element, Flip, Blind, Real, Powell, Deathwish, and more. They stock wheels from Spitfire and trucks from Krux and Venture to complete your set-up.

In addition, the Rec Shop also stocks a large range of spray paint and art supplies along with vaping accessories. This is a cool little skate shop with friendly staff ready to answer any questions you have no matter your skill level.

Rhythm Skate Shop

Rhythm Skate Shop is located just outside of Dallas in Grand Prairie. They stock a wide selection of skateboarding gear and accessories. You will find decks from highly respected companies such as Anti Hero, Birdhouse, Blind, DGK, Thank You, Toy Machine, and more.

As for trucks you can expect a selection from Independent, Ace, and Venture. If you are looking for wheels they’ve got Spitfire, Consolidated, Pig, and Bones. There is also a large selection of clothing from companies like Thrasher and Brixton plus skate shoes from Vans, Emerica, Lakai, New Balance, and more.

After getting kitted out from the skate store you can hit the Action Park Skatepark at the same location. Sessions start at $10 on week days and $12 on weekends. There is also an option of an annual membership for $399. Action Park holds some great programs including lessons, clinics, birthday parties, and facility rentals.

Guapo Skate Shop

Guapo is more than just a skate shop, it’s also a skateboarding museum and a skatepark. What started as a getaway for the founders has grown into a safe drug-free environment where Dallas’ underserved youth can escape and stay out of trouble.

This store stocks a range of decks from smaller skater-owned companies such as Pushfoot, Blaize Culture, Super8, and Schlaudie Skate Co. They also stock all the other necessary stuff you need such as trucks from Independent, Ace, Silver, and wheels from Refuse, OJ, and bones.

Even if you’re not in the market to buy anything this store it worth a visit to check out their museum and to shred the skatepark.

Incite Skate Shop

Incite Skate Shop is located just outside of Dallas in Lewisville. The shop stocks a large range of decks, wheels, trucks, bearings, accessories and clothing. You will find decks from popular brands such as DGK, Girl, Anti Hero, Element, Enjoi, 5Boro, Alien Workshop, Almost, Plan B, Krooked, Passport, and more. Trucks from Independent and Ace along with wheels from Spitfire and Bones are stocked. Complete skateboards are also available from Alien Workshop.

Magnolia Skate Shop

Magnolia Skate Shop is located in Fort Worth just outside of Dallas and not too far from Watauga skatepark, the Chisolm trail, and Vandergriff. The shop has a massive selection of decks from April, Baker, Creature, Deathwish, FA, Chocolate, Hockey, Primitive, Habitat, Santa Cruz, and the list goes on.

These guys have a great selection of wheels, trucks, and bearings from brands such as Ace, Independent, Thunder, Venture, Bones, OJ, Spitfire, Wayward, and Bronson. Their shoe and apparel selection is also on point and consists of brands like Emerica, New Balance, Thrasher and Polar.
