Indiana has a great selection of skate shops throughout the state. Whether you are a beginner looking for your first skateboard or a seasoned ripper in need of a new deck, trucks, wheels, bearings, or other skateboard accessories, these stores are sure to satisfy your needs.
What makes a good skate shop? Many factors come into play when labelling a skate shop as good or one of the best. The obvious one is the selection of products they stock but that’s not the end of the story. What makes skate shops great are skateboarders! If a skateboarder owns a skate shop and hires skateboarders with skateboarding experience then their knowledge can be passed on to you as a customer.
Skate shops shouldn’t be a daunting place for anyone and if they make you feel like a fool then take your business elsewhere. This is rare these days and most skate shop staff are friendly and willing to help anyone from beginner to professional. Skateboarding is by far the most inclusive activity in the world so never be afraid to ask questions and walk into any shop as they are there to help you.
