The best male skateboarders in 2022 might be names you’ve heard of if you keep up to date with the world of skateboarding. If you don’t keep up with skateboarding news you may be in shock at how young some of the top skateboarders in the world are right now.
Some of these skaters are only seventeen and eighteen years of age and competing at the highest level against skateboarding veterans. It’s strange to think that a professional skateboarder in his late twenties is now considered a veteran of the sport but when there are so many turning pro at such a young age, by the time they turn thirty they have already put in over ten years of their lives.
The ten skateboarders listed below have proven to be on top of their game this past year and continue to take podium results in various competitions from street to park.
All of these top skateboarders competed in the 2021 Tokyo Olympics which is such an honor seeing as though it was the first time ever that skateboarding had been recognized as an Olympic sport. There is no doubt the televised event not only raised the profile of the sport but also of these incredible athletes that many amateurs now aspire to be.
