Skateparks in North Dakota are few and far between. The Peace Garden State only has a handful of major cities and almost forty percent of the population lives in rural areas. This is probably one of the main reasons skateparks aren’t being built here as abundantly as other states.

However, the skateparks that this state does have are very good. There are only five skateparks on this list and as you probably guessed, three of them are in the bigger metropolitan areas of Bismarck, Fargo, and Grand Forks.

Something that we would like to point out is that the neighboring state of Montana only has a few hundred thousand more residents, yet their state has been hailed a ‘skateboarding oasis‘ by the New York Times due to the volume of first class skateparks being built there. So if you are up for a little skateboarding road trip, get on the I-94 and head west into Big Sky Country.

In the mean time, the hope is that North Dakota invests into more skatepark builds in the future as the state’s population grows. For now you can shred at the skateparks below.
