Granite Skatepark is an extremely fun place to ride a skateboard. There is a variety of terrain that is suitable for all types and levels of skateboarders. Believe it or not, there is actually eight bowls here that range from banked, mellow flow, advanced flow, pool, and egg. If you can’t find a bowl you like here it probably doesn’t exist!

There is also a street course which flows nicely downhill with a variety of obstacles including hubba ledges, flat ledges, stairs, rails, out ledges, bump-to-ledge, banks, pyramids, hips, and some other fun elements.

If you are in the Sacramento area I definitely recommend checking this skatepark out. Extra points for the super friendly locals too.

McClatchy Skatepark

McClatchy is a fun 7,000 square foot skatepark that was designed and built by Spohn Ranch in 2014. The street inspired facility features a race track-like layout with quarter pipes, bank ramps, camel humps, hubba ledge, hand rail, stair set, flat bar, flat ledge, manual pad out ledge combo, and a nice mini ramp with a rad hip. It’s not the biggest skatepark in Sacramento but it sure is fun!

Wild Rose Skatepark will take you right back to your old ditch skating days with the coolest little snake-run in Sacramento. Bust some lofty airs off the many hips the snake run possesses, or just shred down it at full speed. However you choose to make use of it, you’re bound to have a lot of fun.

The rest of the skatepark is made up of street terrain that includes a hubba ledge, hand rail, stair set, A-frame with a ledge, out ledge, bank ramp, and quarter pipe.

The street course has many obstacles to choose from including numerous hubba ledges, out ledges, flat ledges, curved ledges, up-gaps, bump-to-flat bar, stair sets, three block, hand rail, and bank ramps.

This skatepark has a little bit of everything and is a great spot for both beginners and advanced skateboarders.

Mather Skatepark is located in Rancho Cordova and measures in at over 18,000 square feet. The simple but effective design includes hubba ledges, two hand rails, various stair sets, curved ledge, flat ledges, out ledges, manual pads, bank ramps, bank to wall, quarter pipes, hips, and lot of flat ground. This is one of the most popular skateparks in the Sacramento area.

Mainline (Derr-Okamoto Park) Skatepark

Mainline Skatepark in Derr-Okamoto Park is 13,000 square feet and was designed by Site Design Group and constructed by California Skateparks. This skatepark which opened in 2012, features a nice flow bowl with a BMX fly box, and clean hips. The street course has a variety of obstacles such as down rails, stair sets, hubba ledges, manual pad and ledge combination, A-frame ledge, flat ledges, euro gap, flat bar, quarter pipes with extensions, and bank ramps.
