Oklahoma might not be known as a skateboarding destination but this state surprisingly has some really great skateparks. Whether you enjoy skating street or transition, the state of Oklahoma has you covered from bowls to street league style obstacles.
Many of the better skateparks in this state are centered in and around the larger cities, however if there are any other parks you believe deserve a mention, please let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
It is a well known fact that the Sooner state is famous for the National Cowboy Hall of Fame but we think some of the skateparks here are that good that they most definitely would make it into the Skatepark Hall of Fame if there were one. Blake Baldwin Skatepark


Blake Baldwin Skatepark received a $1.2 million upgrade as of late 2020. This new 20,000 square foot skatepark designed by American Ramp Company features a bowl, mini-ramp, long skatable pathway, and a massive street plaza. The plaza has a range of obstacles including brick ledges, stone kickers, unique fun box combinations, rails, gaps and stair sets. There are also LED lights that make skating at night a pleasure.
BLAKE BALDWIN SKATEPARK

Gathering Place Skatepark


Gathering Place Skatepark is 26,200 square feet and located along the Arkansas River in Tulsa. It features a variety of obstacles such as a bowl, several stair sets with rails and hubba ledges, banks, floating hip, ledge over gap, a snake run and much more!
The skatepark is part of the transformation of nearly 100 acres of Tulsa’s iconic waterfront along the scenic Arkansas River. The project was finished in 2014 and provides locals and visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the facility free of charge.
GATHERING PLACE SKATEPARK

Mat Hoffman Skatepark


Mat Hoffman Skatepark is split into two sections; transition and street. The transition section consists of an 11-foot half pipe, 10-foot over-vert pocket, panda bowl with three shapes, volcano with sub box on top, loveseat, molehill, waterfalls, BMX berm, and rollers.
As for the street section there is an 8-stair, two hubba ledges and a handrail, bank to flat bar, bank to picnic table, block combos, double set with a step-up, hubba ledge, handrail and a manual pad.
The park is lit up at night until 11pm so you can hit that nice session.
MAT HOFFMAN SKATEPARK

Stars And Stripes Skatepark


Stars and Stripes is a 10,000 square foot skatepark built by Grindline in 2018. The skatepark’s street section was designed similar to a Street League Skatepark with multiple stair sets with rails, hubba ledges, quarter pipes, banks, a kicker and two flat bars. There is also a nice bowl with a vert extension and some nice hips.
This is a great all-round skatepark that is best suited for intermediate to advanced skateboarders.
STARS & STRIPES SKATEPARK

Strickland Park Skatepark


Strickland Park Skatepark was built by Spohn Ranch in 2019. The 6,000 square foot skatepark features three quarter-pipes, two hubba ledges, two bank ramps, two bump-to-rails, and a pump track. It’s laid out like a ‘V’ with two runways. One end is completely symmetrical, and the other end has a bank to ledge on one side, and the other has a rail and pole-jam.
The current skatepark is a major upgrade from the old one which is still at the same location that includes some pre-fabricated ramps and a mini half pipe.
STRICKLAND SKATEPARK

Route 66 (El Reno) Skatepark


Route 66 also known as ‘El Reno’ is a 10,000 square foot skatepark built and designed by American Ramp Company. The skatepark is located in Adams Park North and features a variety of obstacles including two bowls with a spine, a brick bank, pyramid with a rail, flat bar, stairs, ledges and hubbas.
This park is completely exposed with no shade so it can get hot in the summer months. Be prepared and always take plenty of water.
ROUTE 66 SKATEPARK

Schillings Skatepark


Schillings Skatepark is only a mere 2,500 square feet but don’t be fooled because this is a sick little park which consists of two quarter pipes, a bank to bank launch ramp, a rail, V shaped bank, ledge, and a corner bank.
Site Design Group Inc is responsible for the design and Grindline for the construction of this facility. This is a great skatepark for street skaters and perfect for beginners as most of the obstacles here are nice and mellow.
SCHILLINGS SKATEPARK
