The street course is filled with awesome obstacles such as hubba ledges, flat ledges, various manual pads, stair set, handrails, A-frame with a rail, pole jam, euro gap, bank ramps and quarter pipes.

Vancouver Downtown Skate Plaza (Vancouver, British Columbia)

Vancouver Downtown Skate Plaza is a massive skatepark that was designed by New Line Skateparks in collaboration with the local skateboarding community. It consists of hubba ledges, flat ledges, out ledges, manual pads, handrails, out rails, flat bars, stair sets, bank ramps, and a quarter pipe.

The 26,000 square foot facility which was built in 2004 hasbecome incredibly popular and is now one of the busiest skateparks in Vancouver. Being the go to spot not only for locals but visiting skateboarders too means you can expect this skatepark to be busy on almost every day of the week.

Genesis Centre Skatepark (Calgary, Alberta)

Genesis Centre Skatepark is located in northeast Calgary and first opened in 2019. There are a few quarter pipes and bank ramps here but the design mainly represents a street course that consists of two big hubba ledges, several flat ledges, out ledge, bank with inset ledge, manual pad, bank to jersey barrier, stairs, handrail, flat bars, and bump bumps. Saint Leonard Skatepark (Montreal, Quebec)

St Leonard Skatepark is divided into two sections around a central green space. It was designed by New Line but constructed by Papillon Skateparks. The upper section holds the street course which consists of some tall rails, down rail, double stair set, flat bars, flat ledge, bank ramp, and a central planter ledge.

The street section gradually flows downhill into the lower transition area. Here you will find bank ramps, a volcano, bowl, island, pump bumps, and some nice hips. This is a really cool skatepark and is suitable for beginner to experienced of skateboarders.

Silvercreek Skatepark (Guelph, Ontario)

Silvercreek Skatepark is another solid design and build by New Line Skateparks. It is long and offers skateboarders both street and transition elements.

There is a mini-ramp and bowl area with extensions, a pocket and ditch section, hubba ledge with stair set and handrail, numerous flat ledges, down ledges, bump-to-ledge, inset ledge, bank ramps, euro gap, quarter pipes, hips, and manual pads. The skatepark’s runway-like design allows skaters to link together many lines.

UBC Skatepark (Vancouver, British Columbia)

UBC Skatepark is another skatepark in Vancouver that was built by New Line Skateparks. This 8,500 square foot facility which was completed in 2014 offers a fun mix of street and transition elements.

There is an open ended bowl with hips and a vert extension, bank ramps, a unique three block ledge made to look like a stack of school books, two hubba ledges, handrail, two flat bars, flat ledges, pump bump, and a quarter pipe. Southwood Skatepark (Calgary, Alberta)

Southwood Skatepark is located at a quiet neighborhood park in southwest Calgary. It consists of a flow bowl with a radial pocket, hips, and various depths which transition skaters will rip to shreds.

Street skaters can focus on numerous obstacles such as flat ledges, flat bars, rails, down ledges, bank with inset ledge, pyramid with a ledge, bank ramps, stairs, manual pad, bank to jersey barrier, and a half bowl. This is a great all-round skatepark that will suit all types of skateboarders.

Lake Wilcox Skatepark (Richmond Hill, Ontario)

Lake Wilcox Skatepark is 17,000 square feet and opened in mid-2019. The large flow bowl ranges from four, six, and eight-feet deep, and has a nine-foot halfpipe section with a fourteen-foot over-vert capsule.

Street skaters will enjoy the plaza section which stretches two hundred feet with obstacles that include handrails, two stair sets, two hubba ledges, flat ledges, manual pads, A-frame ledge, A-frame rail, flat bars, euro gap, bank-to-bank kicker ramps, and quarter pipes.

3 Musketears Skatepark (Acton, Ontario)

The 3 Musketears Skatepark which was built in 2017, measures in at a reasonably sized 16,500 square feet and offers a large street course in addition to a medium-sized bowl.

The street obstacles include hubba ledges, flat ledges, handrails, step-up, stair set, flat bars, A-frame with a rail and ledge, grass gap, bank ramps, bank-to-ledge, and several quarter pipes.

Like many of the skateparks here in Canada, this skatepark is yet another designed and built by New Line Skateparks.

The Plaza at The Forks Skatepark (Winnipeg, Manitoba)

The Plaza at The Forks is Canada’s largest urban skate plaza and bowl facility measuring in at almost 48,000 square feet! The main plaza is made up of an astronomical amount of street elements such as flat ledges, out ledges, hubba ledges, manual pads, bank ramps, handrails, flat bars, stair sets, gaps, quarter pipes, and skate-able art pieces.

At the far end of the skatepark is a huge bowl that ranges in depth from five to thirteen-feet featuring a seventeen-foot cradle. There are also various hips, extensions, pump bumps, along with pool and steel coping.

This is an incredible skatepark that is geared more towards experienced skateboarders.

Van Horne Skatepark (Montreal, Quebec)

Van Horne Skatepark is located near downtown Montreal and is partially covered by an overpass. There is a massive flow-bowl with a snake-run, hips, and extensions. Right next to that is another backyard-style bowl with pool coping.

The street area is located beneath the overpass and is made up of hubba ledges, rails, flat bars, numerous flat ledges, stairs, kicker ramp, rainbow rail, and lots of flat ground.

Whistler Skatepark (Whistler, British Columbia)

Whistler Skatepark underwent an expansion in 2016 and now covers an area of 50,000 square feet!!! Yes, this skatepark is massive and certainly on the list of biggest skateparks in Canada.

It seems like there is an endless amount of obstacles here and also a great variety. There is an old-school snake-run, tons of quarter pipes, bank ramps, pump bumps, spine, pyramids, flat ledges, hubba ledges, volcano, flat bars, rails, vert walls, and more.

Hastings Skatepark (British Columbia)

Hastings Skatepark was built in 2001 and is very popular among transition skaters. There has been a plethora of skateboarding competitions held here over the years including the Vans Park Series.

The large bowl has an eleven-foot deep end, five-foot shallow end, lots of hips, a spine, and a volcano. There is also a small street course but skaters mostly come here for the epic bowl.

Squamish Skatepark (British Columbia)

Squamish Skatepark (4,000 square feet) is a mix of both street and transition features. The flow bowl is a unique shape consisting of an island like section in the middle, some tight transitions, and a corner extension. The street course has a variety of flat ledges, hubba ledges, rails, stairs, bank ramps, and quarter pipes.
