Underpass Skatepark is conveniently located underneath an overpass in the Toronto and East York district. Having a covered skatepark in Toronto is important due to the adverse weather in this area of the country. This skatepark features a variety of flat ledges, curved ledge, stairs, bank ramps, boxes, manual pads, flat bars and rails, a pole jam rainbow rail, and lots of flat ground! Street skaters are guaranteed to enjoy this place a lot!!

Underpass Park is more then just a skatepark though, it also consists of a basketball court, playground, picnic area, and dog fountain.

East York Skatepark

East York Skatepark opened in 2007 and has been an extremely popular skatepark for Toronto based skateboarders. The street section has a variety of elements such as hubba ledges, out ledges, flat ledges, manual pads, handrails, flat bars, multiple stair sets, and a flat gap.

Transition skaters can take advantage of the five-to-six-foot figure-eight shaped bowl that has a hip and a roll-in. Whether you’re an experienced skateboarder or first timer, this is a great spot for all.

Doncaster Skatepark

Doncaster Skatepark is a small but very well designed facility. On one end there is a quarter bowl with a volcano section, the opposite end has a bank ramp, and the middle of the skatepark has two perfect flat ledges, a flat bar, and a manual pad to banked spine feature. This is one fun and smooth little skatepark and perfect for beginners as the obstacles are relatively mellow and less intimidating then some of the other skateparks in Toronto.

Downsview Skatepark (also known as Stanley Greene Skatepark) is a plaza-style facility that will appeal primarily to street skaters. There are numerous flat ledges, bank ramps, quarter pipes, stairs, curbs, pump bumps, and lots of flat ground area. If you are looking to skate some extremely fun street elements this is the spot for you. This is also another great beginner friendly skatepark.

Beach Skatepark (Ashbridges)

Beach Skatepark which is also known as Ashbridges, is the largest skatepark in Toronto! There is a variety of street terrain here that includes hubba ledges, handrails, flat ledges, flat bars, bank ramps, walls, manual pads, stair sets, three block, A-frame, flat gap, and some other cool elements you just have to see with your own eyes. As for transition, there is an eleven-foot kidney bowl with pool coping and a stair channel. The bowl is best suited to experienced skateboarders but the rest of the skatepark is great for all levels.

Neilson Skatepark is located in Neilson Park, Scarborough. This street-style skatepark has a variety of obstacles that include a hubba ledge, A-frame with a ledge, long flat ledge, handrails, manual pad, flat bars, stairs, euro gap, quarter pipe, and bank ramps. For a smaller sized skatepark, it’s not lacking in obstacles and it is designed very well for all levels of skateboarders to shred.

Eighth Street Skatepark (8th St)

Eighth Street Skatepark is located in the southwest of the city and offers a variety street and transition for skateboarders to take advantage of. This 13,000 square foot skatepark was designed by Newline Skateparks and consists of a five-foot peanut shaped bowl, several quarter pipes with hips, vert wall, bank ramps, volcano, hubba ledges, flat ledges, curved ledges, inset bank to ledge, stairs, manual pad, taco bank, three block, and handrails.

This is a great skatepark and anyone from a beginner to an expert will enjoy ripping around here.

Vanderhoof Skatepark

Vanderhoof Skatepark is home to what is likely the best bowl in Toronto. A massive U-shaped flow bowl that has a nine foot deep end with an over-vert clam shell and extended corner with pool coping is what you will find here. There is also a street section that consists of hubba ledges, out ledge, flat ledges, stair sets, and slappy curb. The bowl here is best left to advanced skateboarders!

Twelve Oaks Skatepark

Twelve Oaks Skatepark consists of an awesome little mini bowl that has an extension, volcano, and a roll-in section. Surrounding the bowl there are two quarter pipes, two stair sets, an out ledge, and three flat ledges. Although it’s not the biggest skatepark on this list, it is certainly a fun design and perfect place to hone your skills.

Ellesmere Skatepark is an older facility but it is definitely still one of the best. This is a great skate spot for beginners as there is a lot of room and some mellow obstacles to practice on.
