Skateboarding in the Midwest is fast growing and there are tons of skateparks begging to be shredded in this part of the United States with the state of Missouri being no exception.

The “Show Me State” offers big bowls, street plazas, and even DIY skateparks. Well renown skatepark builder and designer American Ramp Company has constructed many of the skateparks in this state and they are very impressive.

Surprisingly, this state has raised some skateboarding legends such as Steve Berra who is the founder and co-owner of popular skateboarding website ‘The Berrics’. Another name you might recognize is Sean Malto, a skateboarding professional who grew up in the Kansas City area. Malto’s first sponsor was a local Kansas City skate shop and he has filmed many skateboarding parts throughout Missouri.
