If you’re new to skateboarding and want to find a suitable place to practice or you’re an advanced skateboarder in need of larger obstacles, then this list of skateparks in Tulsa will lead you in the right direction.
Not only is Tulsa a great place to go skateboarding but it is also a wonderful place to visit as it has a lot of neat history. It was actually once known as the “oil capital of the world”. Now, it offers a wonderful mix of both Native American and African American culture and history, plus a blend of Midwestern and Southern charm.
Best Skateparks In Tulsa
Gathering Place Skatepark
Gathering Place Skatepark is 26,200 square feet and located along the Arkansas River in Tulsa. It features a variety of obstacles such as a flow bowl with hips, snake-run, several stair sets with rails and hubba ledges, flat ledges, bank ramps, floating hip, ledge over gap, manual pads, and much more!
This skatepark is part of the transformation of nearly 100 acres of Tulsa’s iconic waterfront along the scenic Arkansas River. The project was finished in 2014 and provides locals and visitors with the opportunity to enjoy the facility free of charge.
GATHERING PLACE SKATEPARK
Hours: 9am – 6pm

SkateNorth (Mohawk Skatepark)
SkateNorth, located at Mohawk Sports Complex is 20,000 square feet and is a skatepark that all types of riders will enjoy. Designed by California Skateparks it features a large flow bowl with a radial pocket, coping gap, vert extension, other extensions, and a pump bump.
If street obstacles are more your style then you can take advantage of skinny hubba ledge, flat ledges, out ledge, handrail, flat bar, flat gap, bank to bank gap, stair sets, euro gap, curved ledges, bank ramps, benches, and a manual pad. This skatepark also has lights on until 9pm!
SKATENORTH

Jenks Skatepark

Jenks Skatepark was built by Hunger Skateparks and designed by Native Skatepark’s Ryan Crane. It features two large street sections with flat ledges, bump to ledges, flat bars, rails, A-frame with a rail, stairs, rainbow rail, bank with inset ledge, and more. There is also a flow bowl with a custom made ‘story board’ tile band with mosaics, and a pump track section. The construction crew named the pump track section ‘punk track’ to reflect its more intense, hard core design compared to its mild mannered pump track relatives.
Other creative design features include a mission style doorway entrance and the surrounding landscape encourages public viewing on elevated mounds located around the park. This is a very cool skatepark that will appeal to a variety of riders of all abilities.
JENKS SKATEPARK

Owasso Skatepark
Owasso Skatepark was built by Native Skateparks back in 2012 and features a variety of street and transition style terrain. There is an enclosed bowl with a hip and steel coping, intermediate flow bowl ,pump track, quarter pipes, taco style quarter pipes, pyramid, bank to bank with a gap, stair set with a handrail and down ledge, stair set with a handrail, down ledge, and up-gap, flat bar, manual pads, and flat ledges.
No matter what type of skateboarder you are there is something for everyone here. This skatepark is also lit up at night until 11pm.
OWASSO SKATEPARK
Hours: 7am – 11pm

Bartlesville Skatepark

Bartlesville Skatepark is just a forty-five minute drive north of Tulsa in Washington County. It was built by the highly regarded Evergreen Skateparks out of Portland, Oregon, and it was Ryan Crane of Ambler Architects.
This modern designed skatepark features a large pool-style bowl with a deep and shallow end, and a flow bowl with extensions. The street section is just as impressive with a bank ramp topped with a chunk of curb, hubba ledge, out rail, A-frame rail, kinked rail, handrail, flat bar, bump to manual pad, and a smaller manual pad ledge.
This is a beautiful skatepark that is suited to all types of skateboarders and abilities.
BARTLESVILLE SKATEPARK
