Best Skateparks In Perth
Scarborough Beach Skatepark

Scarborough Skatepark is located right on the beach and comes with awesome views of the ocean. This world class skatepark offers a huge competition-style bowl with three different depths which is definitely for experienced skateboarders only, but don’t worry as there is a smaller bowl perfect for beginner or intermediate skateboarders as well.
The street course consists of a hubba ledge, various flat ledges and manual pads, bank to bank, pump bump, stairs, vert wall, quarter pipes, bank ramps, and plenty of smooth flat ground.
SCARBOROUGH SKATEPARK

Kwinana Skatepark
Kwinana Skatepark is 1,700 squared meters (18,000 square feet) and was designed and built by Convic. This skatepark has a really good mix of street and transition obstacles for all types of skaters to enjoy. There is a large professional bowl, half pipe, and a beginner area.
Street skaters can take advantage of the street course that consists of hubba ledges, flat ledges, granite ledges and manual pads, flat bars, roll-on rail, pole jam, stairs, pump bumps, rhythm section, slappy curb, and a bank with an inset ledge.
Other amenities at the park include a basketball half-court, parkour features with shade structures, water fountains, and phone charging stations.
KWINANA SKATEPARK

Mandurah Skatepark
Mandurah Skatepark is 5,000 squared meters (53,000 square feet) and features three distinct zones which consist of the advanced bowl, flow bowl, and street plaza. The competition-level advanced bowl has different depths, hips, and granite pool coping. If you’re not quite ready for the big bowl then the flow bowl is a good place to practice as it consists of mellower transitions along with a center island, various hips, and an extension.
To top things off there is an amazing street plaza with a large selection of obstacles such as hubba ledges, flat ledges, curved ledge, manual pads, stair sets, rails, flat bars, bank to bank, bump over pillar, pole jam, bank ramps, and quarter pipes.
This entire skatepark is a work of art and incorporates recycled jetty posts to pay homage to the old Mandurah Bridge and also contains blue swimmer crab styled skate rails. The park’s location beside the Mandurah River is top notch and helps to keep temperatures cool here.

Mills Park Skate Plaza
Mills Park Skate Plaza is set out in a rectangular shape with a huge planter in the middle. It offers skateboarders a variety of street elements including down ledges, lots of flat ledges, flat bars, rails, blocks, manual pads, pump to manual pad, pole jams, stairs, bank ramps, and a really nice mini ramp. With smooth concrete and great flow, this plaza will satisfy all street skaters. This skatepark also has some smaller obstacles making it beginner friendly and a good place for new skateboarders to practice.

Banksia Grove Skatepark
Banksia Grove Skatepark was designed by one of the best skatepark builders in the United States – New Line Skateparks. A flow bowl with different depths, hips, extension, and roll-in occupies one end of the skatepark. The rest is made up of multiple obstacles such as quarter pipes, bank ramps, pump bumps, flat bars, handrail, hubba ledge, curved ledge, pole jam, and a two stair euro gap. If you are looking for a skatepark with great flow and the ability to go fast, then this is the spot for you.
BANKSIA GROVE SKATEPARK

Fremantle Esplanade Youth Plaza
Fremantle Esplanade Youth Plaza was designed by Convic whose team did a brilliant job. Opening in 2014, the $1.6 million dollar plaza offers skateboarders a flow bowl with a skate-able historic buoy, hubba ledges, flat ledges, manual pads, inset ledges, handrail, rails, stairs, brick banks, bank to bank, and quartet pipes. This skatepark is perfect for both beginner and advanced skaters.

Bibra Lake Skatepark
Bibra Lake Skatepark is street skating paradise! Built in 2018, it consists of modern street elements such as flat ledges, out ledges, hubba ledge, manual pads, launch ramp, out rail, A-frame with ledge and rail, stairs, brick bank, multiple quarter pipes, slappy curb, pump bumps, hips, half pipe, clam shell, and a skate path. Other amenities include public toilets, barbecues, a basketball court, and a playground.

Harrisdale Youth Park Skatepark
Harrisdale Youth Park is home to a great little skatepark consisting of a perfect mini ramp, hubba ledge, wallie-able floating ledge, flat ledge, stair set, handrail, flat bar, manual pad, bank ramps and quarter pipes. This is a good skatepark for beginners as the obstacles are very mellow and the concrete is super smooth.
HARRISDALE YOUTH PARK

Wellington Square Skate Plaza And Pump Track
Wellington Square is a rad little skate plaza with several flat ledges, manual pads, and bank ramps. There is also a pump track and basketball court with even more metal capped skate-able ledges. This spot is super cool and the city needs to build more public spaces like this one.

Midvale Skatepark
Midvale Skatepark is very well designed with both street and transition skaters in mind. There is a large flow bowl with an island, mini ramp, stair set with two handrails, A-frame with a rail, flat bar, flat ledges, out ledges, manual pads, bump over ball, and two inset ledges to a bank. If you want to skate a good skatepark with smooth concrete and lots of obstacles be sure to hit up Midvale.

Bina Parkland (Balga Skate Plaza)

Bina Parkland Skatepark (also known as Balga Skate Plaza) was inspired by obstacles from Street League competitions. There is a hubba ledge, out ledge, numerous flat ledges, handrails, flat bars, out rail, bank to bank, stair set, bank ramps, and quarter pipes. To top it off, there is also a 14 meter (45 feet) long mini ramp which is the longest mini ramp in Western Australia!

Warradale Park Skatepark
